Weekly evaluations 29/11

We have had another exciting but busy week this week. On Monday, a number of our class represented the school in a football tournament in Play Football. They played amazingly and were fantastic role models for the school. Da iawn pawb.

We have thoroughly enjoyed learning our welsh past tense patterns and developing these patterns further by including a range of prepositions and time connectives.
In our maths we focused on short and long multiplication and looked for patterns when multiplying  2/3/4 digit numbers by a range  of numbers by doubling and halving times tables we already know. We even challenged ourselves to multiplying 4 digit numbers by 3 digit numbers using long multiplication.
In our English work, we have developing our ideas by creating our own descriptive sentences/ paragraphs about a particular object/ topic. We enjoyed being as creative as possible. We also recapped structuring speech correctly in a narrative story.
Christmas is in full swing this week with carols being sung throughout the day in the hall with classes practicing hard for our Christmas concert in two weeks time.
