Topic Homework – Summer Term

This term, our homework was topic based where we had to create a presentation on ‘Home is where the heart is’ where we compared Pontardawe to coastal towns such as Port Eynon. We had to include as much information as possible and find out lots of similarities and differences between the two towns. We had to include pictures, factual information and present it on double A4 paper. We had 3 weeks to complete the project.

We all enjoyed being creative in our work and developing our research skills in a fun and exciting way.

Some interesting facts which we found out was are:

  • Port Eynon is a seasonal town and Pontardawe is not.
  • The population in Pontardawe is 7,000 and Port Eynon only has 574 residents.
